Batik
Doodles has such a random pattern that I don't think you'd need to match
it--it might even benefit from a more random layout to make it even more
interesting. It works with the solids n this group or pair it with a neutral.
I have some great buttons for these prints that just didn't arrive in
time to post here as yet. If you need buttons for a shirt or blouse, let
me know and I'll email you a scan with details. |

This
deep shade of green, almost a brown green, is particularly good this season.
The Yves St. Laurent collection featured some wonderful coordinates including
a collarless wrap jacket with a large lapel, something like a loose 1945
pattern without the collar. Use your swatches for color correction from
your computer screen to see the possibilities. |

This
print is the Ratti knit from the luxe collection this month. (If you
remember, those subscribers who bought fabric at a particular level described
in the January newsletter and also with the new subscriber materials receive
extra swatches with their newsletters.) If
any of this remains after May 15, anyone may place an order for this. Just
email me for the particulars. Ratti is one of the very skillful Italian
mills that we visited on our group trips to Italy, as evidenced by this
