Jacket
Add-On Pattern 1945A Multi-sized pattern includes sizes 8-18 $12.00 |

This pattern is an add-on for the basic jacket pattern 1945. It includes patch and welt pocket styles, and a new front, collar, and facings to create this style. You must have pattern 1945 to complete this garment. I've always heard
how you love to get a perfect fitting jacket, but would like to then change
the neckline or pockets or something.... So, this is my answer. Once you
have jacket 1945 fitting well, then you've got this winner with a new
front, collar, facings and two different pocket styles. In a flat fabric
with the welt pocket this will look very Italian sophisticated, and in
a nubby or boucle fabric with the patch pockets, this will look very French.
Get the picture? If not, the SewImagination Workbook: Jackets will give
you several more ways of transforming this pattern including simple on
seam pockets when you don't want any pocket displayed at all, and other
collar and neckline variations. This pattern is good for plaids or bold
patterns with a single front panel shaped with long darts. |

"I
highly recommend this pattern. This jacket is definitely the backbone
to my wardrobe. It is extrememly comfortable. I love the slim fit on the
body and sleeve. I feel the jacket is slimming and flattering because
of the higher armholes and dart shaping in the body.Every time I wear
it I get complements!"
